On Wednesday, April 10, members of the Grant Career Center National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) brought the school’s motto—Choose to Be Great—to life by stepping up to support local businesses affected by recent flooding. They began their day at the Green Kayak in New Richmond, helping with cleanup efforts, and then extended their support to neighboring businesses also in need.
With hard work and positive attitudes, the NTHS members helped remove debris, wash down surfaces, and begin the restoration process to help the Green Kayak reopen its doors. Their commitment to serving others shows what it truly means to give back to our communities.
At Grant Career Center, greatness isn’t just a goal—it’s a choice. And today, these students chose to be great by making a real difference where it was needed most.
